  • How can I get a booking form?
    You may request a copy of our booking forms by using our contact form if you have a printer the form can be emailed in word.doc format but if you prefer they can be mailed through the post - individual forms are available to each fair - to avoid confusion when booking.
  • What are your working hours?
    From 21st April 2008 working hours have changed to 9am - 12.30pm Mon-Fri; 10am - 12 noon Sat. (GMT/BST) We are present all day at each of our events.
  • How long are your fairs?
    All of our events are held for one day only.
  • Where do you hold fairs?
    We are considerably increasing the area and type of fairs held - various locations are being considered and details will be posted as soon as they are known.
  • How can I book a stall?
    Please email or telephone JL Fairs with your details and a booking form will be put into the post or emailed in word.doc format.
  • How much are the stalls?
    Stalls are sold between 6ft -24ft in length, stall price varies according to event and venue.
  • How can I pay?
    You can pay by cheque or PayPal.
  • Do I have to pay extra for electricity?
    No - available on a first come first served basis electricity is at no extra cost.
  • Do I have to bring my own stand?
    No - tables and chairs are provided by the venue.
  • Do I have to have my own insurance?
    Public Liability insurance is covered by the venue, however if you plan to demonstrate extra insurance is needed.
  • Can I demonstrate my Craft?
    Demonstrations are welcome - but please let us know in advance, so that we can allow extra space.
  • I would like to bring a large display unit - is this allowed?
    Yes - but please let us know in advance to allow extra space.
  • How do I know where my stand is at the venue?
    JL Fairs produces a room plan for each event - this will be sent out with maps etc. 7 days before the event.
  • How do I pay for my stall?
    Return the booking form with a cheque payment - or request an email invoice for PayPal/card payment. There is no extra charge for paying this way.
  • I want to cancel my booking - can I have a refund?
    This depends on the time of cancellation. If you cancel a booking 2 months before the event you will lose your deposit. Cancellations later than 1 month prior to the event are non-refundable.
  • I have paid a deposit when is the balance due?
    The full balance is due one month before the event.
  • I would like to visit one of your fairs - how much does it cost?
    Admission is £1 per adult - pay on the door. Accompanied children free, no concessions.
  • Can I download a copy of your booking form?
    We prefer have details of potential exhibitors before sending out any booking forms, but they are available by email attachment in word.doc format
  • Do you organise the Fair at Chester Racecourse?
    Sorry you have us mixed up with somebody else - you need to get in touch with Wild Designs for the Chester North West Bead Fair.
  • How large are your Nantwich fairs?
    Although we held the Cheshire Bead Fair in 2008 in two halls on two floors future fairs will be held in the main hall with seating available upstairs. Admission to the upper floor will be free, with admission payapbe to the Bead Fair downstairs.
